Downloading method of serial to serial ( Set to Set firmware transfer)		

** In case of Master  Unit.		
Connect two sets(master unit and slave unit) with a Serial cable(Null modem cable).		

1. Power on the master unit.		

2. Press the power button and  the "OK "button at the same time.		

3. Press and hold the power button and then the down direction arrow button consecutively.		

4. The display of front panel will show "5 2 5" shortly and then  " 1" .		 
and at the same time TV screen displays some firmware choices from 1 to 8.		

5. You can select one of the items from  1 to 8 using left/right direction arrow buttons.

(In case of mutant 200s)

6. 0xff800000-0x800000 : "all"        (in this case, you should be more carefully download)
7. 0xff800000-0x7d0000 : "all_noboot"
8. 0xff840000-0x4a0000 : "kernel_root"
 
6. Press "ok" to confirm the choice you made, front display will show rEdy.
7. Move to set up the salve unit.

(in case of relook 400s)

1. 0xff800000-0x040000 : "config_welcome"
2. 0xff840000-0x140000 : "kernel"
3. 0xff980000-0x420000 : "root"
4. 0xffda0000-0x230000 : "db"
5. 0xfffd0000-0x030000 : "boot"    (in this case, you should be more careful to download this boot part)
6. 0xff800000-0x800000 : "all"      (in this case, you should be more careful to download "all")
7. 0xff800000-0x7d0000 : "all_noboot"
8. 0xff840000-0x560000 : "kernel_root"
 


** In case of Slave unit.

1. Power on the salve unit.

2. Press the power button  and the "OK" button at the same time.

3. Press and hold the power button and then the right direction arrow button consecutively.
 
4. The display of front panel will show "Serl".

5. press "ok" on Salve unit to load.

6. The display of front panel will show "progressing rate".
 

7.  It will display " DONE " in front panel when downloading is  complete.

 

Caution : Serial cable is null modem cable.
             This will take about 30 minutes to copy from Set to Set.
